About this app

Digital fiscalization (DF) with the Fiskal Cloud Connect app

The Fiskal Cloud Connect App is the local TSE component for Electronic Record Systems using a cloud TSE. The app is the local SMAERS component and securely communicates with the central CSP service to provide signatures and certificates for VAT receipts. The local TSE component is required to ensure the legally required protection against manipulation for electronic recording systems on Android operating systems. Next to it, the DF Fiskal Cloud Manager (DF Deutsche Fiskal) or the Swissbit Fiskal Cloud Connect App (Swissbit) is required. You can find these in the Google Play Store.

Who provides the Fiskal Cloud Connect app?

The Fiskal Cloud Connect App is provided by D-Trust, a Bundesdruckerei Group company.

For whom is the Fiskal Cloud Connect app relevant?

This app is only relevant for users using electronic recording systems with Android operating systems.
Normally, the app and updates are installed by the commissioned service provider or integrator. After installation, there are no further points of contact for the user with the app - it is an interface in the background of the electronic recording system without a user interface.

Why is there the local TSE component?

According to the technical guidelines (TR) of the BSI, the assignment of transaction numbers and the data storage of transactions must take place locally in the customer system, even if it is a cloud TSE. The assignment of the signature numbers as well as the signature itself take place centrally in the cloud service. This app is required to implement the BSI specifications.
